The 2010 Build Nebraska Housing Policy Summit was held on August 4th, at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center in Kearney, Nebraska.

One of the first steps to moving forward with the work we identified at the Summit is providing you with this Final Report. This report has been updated from the report that was distributed at the close of the Summit.

Participants in the summit took part in small group discussions with the support of a trained and neutral facilitator. Through the use of interactive technology, the results of small group discussions were summarized and shared at the meeting with all of the summit participants. Laptop computers at every table were used to record ideas at each table. Those ideas were reviewed by a group of people to identify the strongest themes across all the tables in the room. The ideas were reported back to the participants during the day. Participants used individual, handheld polling devices to help prioritize their ideas.
